Last weekend I went back to Provo— two times in less than a year is pretty impressive, I'd say—and paid a visit to my home away from home away from home. The weather was pretty typical for Utah: all over the place. The first day there was a snow storm, and the next day (as shown above) we were outside in shorts playing in the sun.
I met up with a bunch of friends at Red Robin one night, and we were treated like kings and queens (NOT. we had to wait almost two hours to get a table together, and then they made us split up anyway. and i had to hold myself back from laying the smack down when they denied us immediate bottomless fries.) Nonetheless, it was a really fun time getting to catch up with friends who I've been missing a lot.
Speaking of friends I've been missing a lot:
Aubrey got back from her mission in December and nothing made me happier than to finally reunite with her... as you can probably imagine, her bear hug was pretty earth-shattering. I stayed with Abbie and her husband Danny (fortunately not awkward like it sounds) and got to play with Katie too! The other two original roommates had had babies while I was gone (2 days apart) and i finally got to meet them, so the reuniting that happened this weekend was pretty much out of control. Then add FAMILY to the mix:
My mom and Luke came out for the weekend... sooooo I had both brothers, my sis-in-law, my mom, my grandparents, and all five of my college roomies in ONE CITY. I'm so lucky.
