FALL LEAVES AND CANDY CORN... AND HOME.

Photobucket

This past 3-day weekend I took my first trip back to Utah. Siiiiigh. It was amazing and full of reminders of "the good ol' days." Simple living is so NOT overrated. I spent the weekend wondering what I was doing living in NY, but then as soon as I got back on Monday it all felt so natural again. I won't lie, the trip got me rethinking some plans. I'm looking for the perfect fit... city life that is a little more "me," if that exists. I'm on a hunt. Any suggestions?

I was welcomed by great friends and candy corn and fall leaves and {the next day} family and so many flooding memories. It was a good time and a much-needed escape. It was so good to see family, too. I need to be closer. New York is just too far.

I'm missing this already.

I read this post in the subway this morning. When I saw the pictures of the leaves I was literally moaning out loud because I miss it soooo much! I am so happy for you that you had such a great visit. It makes it kinda hard to come back huh?

I miss this about Utah too!!! Come to Chicago. It's a little taste of the city and great suburbs. :)

Ah man Carly - I am afraid of that exact thing. I'm coming out to New York in a week and I'm going to miss provo so bad. Promise me we'll play together and create new "good old times"? I'll get the Rummikub.
